Advanced skincare treatment
Does your skin need to heal from the inside out? Skin needling does just that. It penetrates deep into the second layer of your skin to repair damaged tissues and promote skin renewal.
Studies have shown microneedling increases collagen and elastin up to 400% six months after treatment. This is why it’s become the go-to for hard-to-treat skin issues, such as scarring and pigmentation, as well as being an effective anti-ageing method.
How it works
Skin needling (also known as microneedling and Collagen Induction Therapy) is the process of inserting tiny medical-grade needles into the epidermis (outer layer of the skin) and into the dermis (second layer of your skin).
At Jana, we use an eDermaStamp, the benchmark in microneedling. It’s a medical-grade system that’s extremely safe and precise.
The eDermaStamp creates micro-wounds that trick the skin into producing more collagen and elastin to repair damaged tissues. It improves the thickness of the skin (both dermis and epidermis) to change skin texture and reduce wrinkles.

Microneedling can hurt a little but it’s nothing to be afraid of. We ask you to apply a topical anaesthetic an hour prior to the procedure to ensure your comfort.

Generally, you’ll see results after 3-4 weeks once collagen production begins but we recommend 3-6 sessions six weeks apart depending on your skin concern.
How long does skin needling last?
Collagen lasts in the skin for 1-2 years.
What are the side effects?
Your skin will be a little red post treatment. You may also experience inflammation. It heals within a week.
How do I take care of my skin after a skin needling?
Avoid using skincare with active ingredients e.g. retinols, AHA’s for 3-5 days after treatment. Avoid exercise that will make you sweat for 3-5 days. Avoid wearing makeup for 48 hours after treatment. If your skin feels irritated, you can apply a cooling face mask to your face. Once healed, wear sunscreen .
