What is IPL Skin Rejuvenation
Do you have uneven skin tone or pigmentation? Skin discolouration is usually caused by sun damage. UV rays alter the melanin in your skin creating freckles, pigmentation and sunspots.
Can you wind back the clock? Unfortunately, not. But there is a way to fade pigmentation and improve skin tone using the latest in light therapy.
IPL (Intense Pulse Light) is a light therapy technique that uses wavelengths of light to lighten the signs of photoaging (UV exposure). It improves the overall tone and texture of your skin and can be used to treat multiple skin concerns.
IPL skin rejuvenation treats:
- Pigmentation (age spots, brown spots, uneven tone)
- Sun spots
- Fine lines
- Capillaries and redness
- Spider veins
- Acne scarring
- Enlarged pores
- Tired, dry skin
How it works
IPL skin rejuvenation treatment is the process of using light energy to target melanin in the skin. Melanin is what creates colour pigment, and the light changes the melanin resulting in a fading of colour.
We use a medical-grade Steller M22 IPL machine, which can only be used by trained professionals. The treatment is fast, safe, pain-free and effective.
